The Japan Amusement Industry Association (JAIA; Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: 川﨑寛) is opening ticket sales for AMUSEMENT EXPO 2026, its annual celebration of arcade gaming, starting at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1. The event itself takes place at Tokyo Big Sight (South Exhibition Building, 1F and 4F) on Saturday, November 7.
AMUSEMENT EXPO 2026 is one of Japan's largest exhibitions and fan events dedicated to the amusement and entertainment industry, held each year to support its continued growth. This year, around 55 companies (as of July 2026) are set to exhibit, spanning arcade machine manufacturers, prize manufacturers, related equipment makers, and operators of amusement facilities.
New for this year is a ¥500 (tax included) student discount ticket, introduced to make it easier for students to attend. The organizers hope the lower price will let more people experience the latest arcade games and amusement equipment and discover the appeal of game entertainment.
Under the theme "スゲーーーセン," the venue will bring together a wide range of popular arcade genres, including crane games, video games, print sticker machines, and medal games, alongside the latest hands-on attractions. Tokyo Big Sight will effectively become an oversized arcade for the day.
All of the game machines on the floor can be played free of charge (admission itself requires a paid ticket).

Early Ticket (entry from 9:00 AM): ¥3,000
Standard Ticket (entry from 10:00 AM): ¥2,000
Student Discount Ticket (entry from 10:00 AM): ¥500
Late Ticket (entry from 1:00 PM): ¥1,000
Elementary school students and younger enter free. They may enter from 9:00 AM only when accompanied by an Early Ticket holder; otherwise, entry is from 10:00 AM.
Students may be asked to show a student ID to use the discount ticket.
The student discount is available to students enrolled at junior high schools, compulsory education schools, secondary education schools, high schools, technical colleges, vocational schools, universities, and graduate schools in Japan.
There is no time limit on how long visitors may stay.
Same-day tickets will not be sold at the venue.
A separate ticket combining User Day admission with viewing access to "AMUSEMENT MUSIC FES 2026" will be sold separately. Elementary school students and younger who wish to watch the show also need a viewing ticket.
Those wishing to attend AMUSEMENT MUSIC FES 2026 should purchase the "AMUSEMENT MUSIC FES 2026 Viewing Ticket," which bundles User Day admission with viewing access.
