Artevelo Card Sleeve Brand Announces 5th Collaboration with Illustrator Project.C.K.

Artevelo, the card sleeve brand from Movic (headquartered in Toshima, Tokyo), has announced its 5th collaborative entry — a partnership with art unit Project.C.K.

Artevelo is a coined name combining the Italian word for "art," Arte, with the word for "veil," Velo, built around the concept of "wearing art." The brand targets card game players who find character-heavy sleeves too loud but find plain sleeves too plain, proposing a casual approach to incorporating art into everyday life and offering a new option in between.

Amasugawasure

Amasugawasure

An illustrator known for characters drawn in a magical-girl style, rendered with a warm, soft touch and a delicate world. She has participated in numerous events — including an exhibition at a magical girl showcase held in Hokkaido in June — and is also recognized for her original character designs.

Shushi

Shushi

An illustrator working primarily in pixel art (dot art), depicting girls with a blend of cuteness and wistful fragility. The nostalgic atmosphere and a distinctive sense of transparency make the work stand out, drawing many fans to its one-of-a-kind world.

Watakinoshi

Watakinoshi

An illustrator with strengths in character design and goods illustration, working in a pop, subcultural style. Pieces exploring themes such as dreamy-cute, angelic, and edgy aesthetics are particularly well-regarded, rendered in a soft brushwork with a transparent color palette that draws in many fans.

Keke

Keke

An illustrator known for vivid, pop color choices and cute character designs — primarily girls and rabbit-like characters. In addition to illustration, Keke also produces animations and graphic design, with a strong fondness for yellow running through much of the work.
