The spring limited menu at J.S. PANCAKE CAFE is back for another season. The pancake shop, which runs on the concept of "all-time pancakes," is returning with its Amaou strawberry mille-feuille pancake starting March 12 (Thursday), along with new strawberry drinks to round out the seasonal lineup.
Amaou Strawberry Mille-Feuille Pancake Returns
Often referred to as the "king of strawberries," the Amaou variety takes the spotlight in this seasonal pancake. Layers of vanilla-scented custard cream and crispy puff pastry are stacked on top of a soft, fluffy buttermilk pancake base, then finished with condensed milk and a generous pour of strawberry sauce. The combination brings together multiple textures alongside the sweet-tart flavor of the strawberries and the milky richness of the condensed milk.
Note: At the Sapporo Stella Place location only, the strawberry variety will be "Mouikko" from Miyagi Prefecture instead of Amaou.
Strawberry Drinks Join the Menu
Two new strawberry-flavored drinks are also available alongside the pancake: a flavored tea and a tea soda. Both use Amaou strawberries and pair the sweet-tart fruit flavor with the fresh scent of elderflower. The flavored tea includes a touch of mint for a light, springlike finish. At the Sapporo location, "Mouikko" strawberries from Miyagi Prefecture are used here as well, offering a gentle sweetness with a clean aftertaste.

Instagram Campaign
To coincide with the launch, J.S. PANCAKE CAFE is running a special Instagram campaign tied to "15" — a nod to "ichigo" (the Japanese word for strawberry). From March 5 (Thursday) through March 12 (Thursday), follow the official J.S. PANCAKE CAFE Instagram account and reply to the campaign post with a mention to enter the draw. Fifteen winners will receive a complimentary "Amaou Strawberry Mille-Feuille Pancake." Results will be announced on March 15 (Sunday).
