Kyoto Omuro Kadensho — A Refined Japanese Hot Spring Inn Opening Near Ninnaji Temple in May 2026

A new premium Japanese hot spring inn, Kyoto Omuro Kadensho, is set to pre-open on May 24, 2026 (Sunday), in the historic Omuro district of Kyoto's Ukyo Ward. Reservations opened on March 3, 2026 via the official website.

About Kyoto Omuro Kadensho

Situated just a 2-minute walk from "Omuro Ninnaji" Station on the Keifuku Electric Railway (Randen) Kitano Line, the inn offers convenient access to one of Kyoto's most storied neighborhoods. The Omuro area is celebrated for its distinctive cherry blossoms in spring and its proximity to Ninnaji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Kyoto Omuro Kadensho is the third property in the "Kadensho" series, following locations in Arashiyama Onsen and Umekoji. The inn features 67 elegantly appointed rooms across a building with three above-ground floors and one below-ground floor.

Inspired by the concept of "jibun no hana" (the flower of the moment) from Zeami's classic artistic treatise, the inn pursues an understated, serene aesthetic — valuing stillness and space over ornament. Guest rooms, seasonal kaiseki cuisine, the natural breeze through the gardens, and the clarity of the hot spring waters are all thoughtfully harmonized to craft a once-in-a-lifetime stay.
