Confectionery maker Morozoff has joined forces with Yawataya Isogoro — a Nagano-based shichimi (seven-spice chili pepper) purveyor counted among Japan's three great shichimi makers — to create a new treat called "Shichimi Arcadia." The product blends the gentle sweetness of Morozoff's long-selling "Arcadia" baked cookie with the bold, layered spice of Yawataya Isogoro's signature shichimi, and will go on sale exclusively at Nagano Tokyu Department Store starting March 26, 2026.

★NEW★ Shichimi Arcadia
The star ingredient is cashew nut, chosen for its characteristically mild sweetness. The traditional egg-white baking method stays intact, but aromatic "arare" (crispy rice crackers) have been mixed in to add a new layer of texture. Tucked beneath the surface is a nostalgic seasoning built from bonito dashi, soy sauce, and mirin — a mellow combination that beautifully amplifies the deep, vibrant fragrance of Yawataya Isogoro's shichimi pepper. The result is a Shinshu specialty with a captivating contrast of subtle sweetness and spiced warmth that keeps you coming back for more.
