RIHGA Royal Hotel Kyoto is set to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its renovation on September 8, 2026. To mark the occasion, two special appreciation plans will go on sale, with reservations opening on March 10, 2026, and stays available from May 7, 2026 onward.
The two plans are:
- "Royal Suite Room Luxury Stay Plan" (1 room per day) — ¥200,000 per room for 2 guests (dinner, breakfast, tax, service charge, and accommodation tax included)
- "Premium Floor Guaranteed & Selectable Breakfast Plan" (up to 10 rooms per day) — ¥20,000 per room for 2 guests (breakfast, tax, service charge, and accommodation tax included; reservations require a minimum of 2 guests per room)
Both plans are available exclusively through the hotel's official website.
Royal Suite Room Luxury Stay Plan (1 Room Per Day)
This plan offers access to the hotel's top-grade guest room — the Royal Suite Room on the Executive Floor (10th floor, 105 sq. m). The suite is not normally made available for general booking, having been reserved for distinguished domestic and international guests.
Reservation period: From March 10, 2026
Stay period: May 11 (Mon) to June 30 (Tue), 2026 (reservations required at least 10 days in advance)
Rate: ¥200,000 per room for 2 guests (dinner, breakfast, tax, service charge, and accommodation tax included)
Plan inclusions:
- In-room check-in service — Staff will escort guests to their room and complete check-in procedures there (guests should notify lobby or front desk staff upon arrival)
- Welcome drink — Choose from the lounge (All-Day Dining KAZA, 1st floor) or Bar Granada (B1F)
- Dinner — Choose from French Dining Top of Kyoto (14th floor) or Teppanyaki AOI (B1F); seating available from 6:00 PM at each restaurant
- Champagne half bottle & fruit platter — Delivered to the room after dinner; champagne half bottle "Charles de Cazanove" (1 bottle per room) and fruit platter (1 set per room); subject to availability
- Indoor pool & fitness gym (free use) — Open 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM / 1:30 PM to 9:00 PM (last entry 7:00 PM)
- Free minibar — Featuring craft beer from Kyoto's Kizakura and other carefully selected drinks
- Breakfast — Choose from room service (American breakfast), French Dining Top of Kyoto (14th floor, Western set menu), or All-Day Dining KAZA (1st floor, Japanese-Western buffet)
Premium Floor Guaranteed & Selectable Breakfast Plan (Up to 10 Rooms Per Day)
This plan features the Premium Floor (9th floor), which was created during the hotel's renovation. The floor takes the Kyoto landscape of bamboo groves as its motif, incorporating Japanese elements such as shoji screens and lighting throughout a calm, refined atmosphere.
Reservation period: From March 10, 2026
Stay period: May 7 (Thu) to June 30 (Tue), 2026
Rate:
- ¥20,000 per room for 2 guests (breakfast, tax, service charge, and accommodation tax included)
- ¥30,000 for 3 guests (breakfast, tax, service charge, and accommodation tax included)
- Reservations require a minimum of 2 guests per room
Room type: Premium Floor (9th floor) guaranteed, twin room (room type at hotel's discretion)
