Washbasin by Kakiemon Sakaida XIV

Each guest room on the Seven Stars in Kyushu features a washbasin created by Kakiemon Sakaida XIV, one of his final works. Each room displays a different design, with every washbasin being a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.

This event marks the first time one of these works will be displayed outside the train. Visitors can see in person the beauty and presence of the porcelain that cannot be fully captured through photographs or words—something usually only seen aboard the train.
