A new travel package, "Shin Nihonkai Ferry: Platt Hokkaido 3 Days [Web Booking Only]," is now available through Venus Travel. The package is built around the Shin Nihonkai Ferry, which connects Niigata with Otaru and Tomakomai East, and includes a round-trip ticket for one person along with on-board perks.
Perk 1: A multi-coupon worth ¥6,000 for use on board
Perk 2: On the Otaru route, a free au Starlink Ferry Wi-Fi coupon (¥1,500/24 hours) is also included. (Not available on the Tomakomai East Port route)
Shin Nihonkai Ferry
Shin Nihonkai Ferry operates car ferry service between Niigata Port and both Otaru Port and Tomakomai East Port. Out on the open sea, passengers can enjoy a refreshing sea breeze and unobstructed views of the horizon.
On board, there is a restaurant and a large communal bath to help passengers unwind during the crossing.
Cabin: Tourist A (Shared Bunk Beds)
Each passenger is allocated one bunk. The upper and lower berths have alternating entrances, so each guest has a degree of private space within the shared cabin.
Upgrades to higher cabin grades are available for an additional fee.
