Tsumagoi Resort Sainosato in Kakegawa, Shizuoka — one of the Enshu region's notable cherry blossom destinations — will hold the 2026 Tsumagoi Spring Festa at Chibikko Plaza on March 28 (Sat) and 29 (Sun) when approximately 1,500 cherry trees are expected to be in full bloom. Admission is free.
2026 Tsumagoi Spring Festa

Guests bringing dogs are requested to have their pets wear a manner belt.
During the festival, kitchen cars and shops gather throughout the resort. Outdoor activities, dance performances, a free electric bike "AINOHOT" trial ride, and a dog-friendly walking course are among the highlights available exclusively during the Spring Festa. Visitors can enjoy cherry blossom viewing alongside food and shopping in a spring atmosphere.

Tsumagoi Dog Community — Spring Holiday Limited Event "SPECIAL WEEK 2026"
Dates: March 25 (Wed) – April 5 (Sun), 2026, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Venue / Check-in: Tsumagoi Horseback Riding Club
A walking course lined with Somei Yoshino cherry trees — normally off-limits to pets — will be open for a limited period during this time. Visitors can stroll with their dogs along a 1 km cherry blossom–lined path around the resort's perimeter.
Usage Fees
- 1st dog: ¥2,200 (tax included)
- 2nd dog onwards: ¥1,100 (tax included)
One parking space fee (¥500) is complimentary.
