VR Horror Attraction Senritsu Meikyu Mayoi National Tour Announced for November 2025 and Beyond

ABAL Corporation (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yoshiya Okoyama), in partnership with Fujikyu Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi; President: Koichiro Horiuchi), has announced a nationwide tour of the VR horror attraction Senritsu Meikyu: Mayoi (Maze of Terror: Lost). This XR-powered experience, inspired by Fuji-Q Highland's renowned horror facility "Senritsu Meikyu," ran for 44 days from July 19 to August 31, 2025, at Tokyo Tower's Foottown basement level, attracting over 20,000 visitors.

Following the success in Tokyo and in collaboration with strategic partner Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Suguru Sano), the attraction will launch its nationwide tour in mid-November 2025, with initial venues at Hirakata Park in Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture, and Kohrinbo in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.

Tokyo Tower Event Drew Over 20,000 Visitors with 1.5 Million In-VR Photos Taken

The inaugural Senritsu Meikyu: Mayoi event at Tokyo Tower concluded to great acclaim, with over 20,000 attendees and approximately 1.5 million photos captured within the virtual reality environment. Following the Tokyo run, numerous requests poured in from people outside the capital seeking to experience the attraction. In response, ABAL, led by strategic partner Dentsu Inc., decided to organize this nationwide tour.

The company aims to bring the experience to even more locations beyond Osaka and Ishikawa Prefectures, ensuring broader accessibility for horror and VR enthusiasts across Japan.
