Expo ’70 Commemorative Park

Selected as one of “Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots,” Expo ’70 Commemorative Park is a must-see. The park boasts around 5,500 cherry trees and hosts a “Cherry Blossom Festival” with night-time illumination. During this period, the park’s opening hours are extended, and visitors can also enjoy the illuminated “Tower of the Sun.”

Katsuo-ji Temple

Katsuo-ji Temple is known for its late-blooming cherry blossoms, which can be enjoyed from mid-April to early May, offering a longer viewing period compared to other spots. The temple is also famous for its unique ‘Daruma-mikuji’(Daruma fortune-telling), which is a prayer for good luck.
