■Nagasaki Electric Tramway Head Office
This tram offers a convenient way to explore this beautiful city, with clear signage making it easy to navigate. We'll take it from Nagasaki Station to reach Sofukuji Temple.

■Sofukuji Temple
Sofukuji, a Rinzai Zen temple built in 1629 in Chinese Nanchuan style, features iconic structures like Daimon Gate and Daeleon Hall, both National Important Cultural Properties. Its vibrant vermilion gates and buildings display stunning colors and intricate designs.

■Kofukuji Temple
Kofukuji is known as the birthplace of Japanese kidney beans, Mincho kanji characters, and traditional Kofukuji-style dining tables.
After visiting Kofukuji, we’ll explore Nagasaki's oldest historical shopping street.

■Motenashiya
Located near Megane Bridge in Nagasaki, "Motenashi ya" is a tourist information center and souvenir shop. It offers helpful maps, local travel guides, and a curated selection of stylish Nagasaki souvenirs. Visitors can also relax in a free space with charging outlets for devices.

■ Megane-bashi (Spectacles Bridge)
Built in 1634, the Spectacles Bridge is the oldest arched stone bridge in Japan and once served as part of the entrance to Kofukuji Temple. The bridge’s heart-shaped stone, embedded in the Nakajima River’s revetment, is a popular and charming feature.

■Hamamachi Arcade (Hamanmachi Shopping Street)
The long covered shopping arcades are impressive, extending hundreds of meters in various directions and often adorned with local emblems and colorful banners. Hamamachi Arcade, in particular, offers a mix of traditional and modern shops and restaurants, providing a cozy, weatherproof shopping experience.
