Takao has been revered as a sacred mountain and a site of worship for over 1,000 years. Along the hiking trail, you'll find Yakuo-in Temple, where visitors can pray for good fortune from the mountain deity (Tengu) and other Buddhist figures. ・Mt. Takaosan Hiking Course： The trail offers various difficulty levels, ranging from beginner-friendly paths to more challenging hikes. Share your preferences with the guide. You can stop at any point on the trail to rest or enjoy snacks and drinks. ・Keio Takaosan Onsen Gokurakuyu： Descend the mountain by foot, cable car, or lift (please hold on tight, as there are no safety bars on the lift)! Afterward, relax your tired muscles in the hot springs.
