Lounge Southcourt on the 20th floor of Odakyu Hotel Century Southern Tower in Shinjuku is serving a seasonal "Peach Afternoon Tea" from July 1 to September 30, 2026. The three-tier afternoon tea stand highlights the gentle sweetness of peach across both sweets and savories, making it a fitting summer treat for those looking for an elegant midday break.
Five varieties of sweets are arranged on the stand: a peach tart, a peach shortcake, a round peach and strawberry mousse, a chilled glass dessert called white peach almond jelly (annin doufu), and a peach macaron in the lounge's signature rosy pink shape.
The savory selection brings vivid yellows and oranges to the stand with three items: a smoked salmon and cream cheese croissant sandwich, an onion quiche, and yellow peach aspic served alongside prosciutto and olives.
In addition to the main stand, the afternoon tea includes a separate plate of baked goods—a peach madeleine, peach butter sandwich cookie, and a damier cookie.
Two types of scones (plain and seasonal flavor) arrive on their own plate, served with clotted cream and a peach and Tokyo lemon confiture made by the pastry chef. The confiture adds a refreshing citrus note to each bite.
More than 15 drink options are available—including black tea, coffee, herbal tea, and a limited-time flavored tea—with unlimited refills for 90 minutes throughout the session.
