Izakaya Hopping in Akabane, Tokyo: Cheap and Delicious Bars and Ramen Shop!

This time, I went bar hopping for 4 bars/shops alone in Akabane. The area boasts numerous izakaya options where people can start drinking from the early hours, and it’s both affordable and delicious! Tachinomi Ikoi Main Store (立ち飲み いこい 本店)

The first stop is one of the most popular in Akabane! A standing style bar.
I was surprised to find the shop crowded with customers, even though it was noon on a weekday!
While it may require a bit of courage for beginners to go on solo bar hopping, it’s highly recommended for those who enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere!

3 minutes walk from Akabane Station.

The second stop is a horse meat specialty shop located in the shopping street.
The taste is very good!

Sakura Shoten 603(桜商店 603)

The third stop is a 24-hour opening standing style bar.
With a full 100-yen menu, this shop is also very affordable!
Very friendly and kind manager and good atmosphere.

Let’s finish off my bar hopping journey with ramen! The type of ramen I’m going to have here is dried sardine ramen.

Chuka Soba (Chinese Style Ramen), small with green onion only: 650 yen
The taste is really good, very simple and elegant!
