Travel Itinerary

11:00am Japan’s largest dagashi shop(日本一のだがし売り場)

The largest candy store in Japan, located 3.40 minutes by car from Okayama Station.

The entire warehouse is a candy store, and it’s just too big…! It’s like a dreamland✨
Even as adults, we were thrilled and excited!

Both adults and children can enjoy it, so if you are ever in the neighborhood, I highly recommend you stop by.

12:30pm Bed and Breakfast Aoshima / Aoshima dining room(民宿青島/青島食堂)

For lunch, we went to a restaurant specializing in conger eel cuisine located by the sea in Ushimado!
The first floor of the guest house served as the dining room. The restaurant has a homey atmosphere.

My favorite is the “Anago Jyu (conger eel box),” which is available in limited quantities ✨
The Thick carefully selected conger eel box is quite extravagant at 2,880 yen, but it is chock-full of thick, large conger eel!
It seems to be different from the average, so I might recommend getting excited about it.

The sweet and savory conger eel was plump and really tasty!
They are particular not only about the conger eel, but also about the way it is grilled and the sauce.

I was happy to see that not only the stacked dishes were included, but also a side dish and miso soup. The taste was not an omake level either.

It is located on a small hill and offers a spectacular view of the Seto Inland Sea.

Admission is free, and the park has a large plaza, an observation deck, stores, and a cafe!
The view from the observation deck was breathtaking✨The beautiful grass and blue ocean was truly beautiful.

A store under the observatory sold olive oil, olive cosmetics, ice cream, and other snacks.

After enjoying the olive garden, the highlight of the trip! Kuroshima Venus Road ✨
Kuroshima Venus Road is a sand road that appears only at low tide on Kuroshima, a small island in Ushimado.
Since we will take a ferry to Kuroshima, we will first go to “Hotel Limani” where the ferry departs from, and then go to Kuroshima.

If you are lucky, you can cross from Kuroshima to Nakanokoshima Island and Hatanokojima island, but when we went there, the tide was not completely ebbing… We put on our boots and crossed. You can’t resist nature, lol.

On Nakanokoshima Island, there was a stone with a heart of happiness! If you touch it with your heart, your wish will come true.
