Summary

Hiroshima Prefecture is rich in natural beauty and sunny weather, and its favorable climate provides an abundance of seafood and mountain products.
Miyajima (also known as Itsukushima), the small island we visited this time, is located at the westernmost tip of Hiroshima Bay and is famous for Itsukushima Shrine. However,
Instead of going to the famous Itsukushima Shrine, I cycled around the back side of Miyajima.
We took on the challenge without any prior research! Will you be able to go around Miyajima in a circle?
This is a record of a solo woman’s winter cycling trip with her beloved car.

This time the challenge failed. We turn around and return all the way back the way we came.

Oyster shop(牡蠣屋)

I couldn’t go all the way around Miyajima, but I did a lot of pedaling, so kudos to myself! The last dish of the trip was oysters, which is Hiroshima’s specialty.
I ordered oyster gratin and fried oysters.
Oyster juice overflowed from the oyster gratin and the tender texture was very delicious✨.
