Nasu 2 Day Itinerary

Summary


This time, my sister and I went on a driving tour of Nasu~! šŸš—āœØ Nasu is surrounded by nature and every road is perfect for a drive. The roads are spacious, there are no cars speeding, and we had a peaceful road trip. ā˜ŗļøšŸ’–

10:00am SOFTCREAM STAND


The first stop was a soft-serve ice cream shop! This place is located in a complex called GOOD NEWS, and the soft serve ice cream is served on a terrace with a nice atmosphere šŸ˜‹. The soft serve ice cream with a strong milk flavor and a choice of toppings was excellent! I had soft serve ice cream with milk jam & salt topping (Ā„500) My sister ordered the pudding soft (Ā„650) šŸ¦āœØ.

SOFTCREAM STAND, located in Nasu-cho, Nasu-gun, Tochigi Prefecture, is a soft serve ice cream specialty store. Its popular soft serve ice cream, which is known for its rich milk flavor and delicious taste, can be enjoyed on the terrace. You can also choose toppings, so you can enjoy the flavor to your liking. According to word of mouth, the milk jam & salt topping and pudding soft serve are recommended.

The next stop was here, full of Asian atmosphere! The site is lined with stores and restaurants from Southeast Asian countries, giving visitors the feeling of traveling abroad. āœˆļø We shopped at Vietnamese and Thai markets and ate at a Balinese restaurant! We ordered the Ubud Special, a plate of nasi goreng and mie goreng (1,180 yen), fried frog called kod goreng (600 yen), fried shrimp spring roll called lumpia (400 yen), and mango juice (550 yen) šŸ¤¤āœØ.

Asian Old Bazaar, located in Yumoto, Nasumachi, Nasu-gun, Tochigi, is a playful market where you can enjoy Asian goods and Asian cuisine. By word of mouth, it has a reputation for making you feel like you are traveling abroad.

Next in Asia is the UK šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ This is a museum where visitors can enjoy stained glass and musical instruments in a building inspired by an English manor house. We both enjoyed the harp and piano playingā€¦ šŸ˜ŒāœØ

The Nasu Stained Glass Museum in Nasu Town is the largest antique stained glass museum in Japan. It is also the location for the Nippon Television drama Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo. The building is Gothic in style, with a motif of an English manor house, and visitors can enjoy stained glass windows and musical instruments. A wedding ceremony in the magnificent stained-glass windows, where weddings are also held, may be the place of womenā€™s dreams. The daily pipe organ and music box performances are also exceptional.

Then, experience stained glass and take a short break šŸ§š at Cafe Baibley, located on the grounds of the Stained Glass Museum. It was great fun to be able to experience making one-of-a-kind stained glass pieces by combining the glass as we pleased! At the cafe, we had a panna cotta (Ā„450), coffee (Ā„400), and evere hot tea (Ā„500), which was said to have been served by the Emperor himself. It was the first time for both of us to try panna cotta, and we were impressed by its deliciousnessā€¦ šŸ˜»šŸ˜»This will be our purpose to come to Nasu: ļ¼ļ¼ļ¼ļ¼

Located at 1790 Takakuhei, Nasu-cho, Nasu-gun, Tochigi Prefecture, CAFE Bibury is a cafƩ where visitors can enjoy a stained glass experience and a short break on the grounds of the Stained Glass Museum. It offers panna cotta, coffee, and evere hot tea, which is said to have been enjoyed by the Emperor of Japan. The panna cotta is especially delicious, and word of mouth says it tastes so good that it becomes a reason to visit. *The cafƩ space has been renovated into a stained glass experience class and is now open for business.

This time we stayed at this hotel! The spacious grounds included a swimming pool and a golf course, and the whole family could enjoy the facility for a day! The dinner served in a private room and the buffet in the morning are so delicious that it will make your cheeks fall offā€¦ šŸ¤¤. The room had a large living room, a sofa bed, a Japanese-style room, and a bedroom with two large bedsā€¦ it was too luxurious hotel šŸ§ššŸ’–.

Tokyu Nasu Resort Hotel Harvest Nasu, located in Nasu-cho, Nasu-gun, Tochigi Prefecture, is a resort hotel that can be used as a lodging facility and also offers hot springs. According to reviews, the spacious grounds include a swimming pool and golf course, and the facility offers a full day of family fun, as well as delicious dinner served in a private room and a buffet in the morning.

Start of Day 2! We headed to a bakery to buy souvenirs for ourselves!This place had Beatles music playing in the background and a large selection of merchandise! Of course, Iā€™ll be playing the Beatles on the car ride to Penny Lane and getting into the groove šŸŽ¶šŸ˜†. We took out the delicious bread, but it would be nice to eat it on the terrace surrounded by nature! The menu also included rice and desserts in addition to bread, so I would like to use it for lunch next time šŸ’­.

Penny Lane Nasu Store, located in Yumoto, Nasu-cho, Nasu-gun, Tochigi Prefecture, is a popular bakery offering more than 60 varieties of bread, and morning plates are also popular. It is also recommended for music lovers, as Beatlesā€™ songs are played as background music and merchandise is available. There is also terrace seating where you can enjoy your meal surrounded by nature. Word of mouth has it that the hamburgers, curry, and other lunches are also delicious.

The next stop was a tourist ranch! This is a farm where you can interact with animals without an entrance fee šŸ‚. We fed the horses šŸ“ walked the rabbits šŸ° and had a great time interacting with the animals for the first time in a long time šŸŽ¶āœØ.

Nasukogen Minamigaoka Farm is a ranch located in Nasu-cho, Nasu-gun, Tochigi Prefecture. By word of mouth, it is popular as a ranch where visitors can interact with animals with no admission fee, and can also enjoy horseback riding, fishing, sausage making, and other hands-on activities. There is also a large souvenir shop, so visitors can buy souvenirs of their trip to Nasu here.

The last meal was nasuben! It stands for Nasu no Uchibento, a lunch plate packed with ingredients from Nasu šŸ¤¤. All the dishes were really delicious and it was a happy lunch šŸ˜‹.

Nasukogen Yuai-no-Mori Nasutoran is a restaurant located in Nasu-cho, Nasu-gun, Tochigi Prefecture. It offers lunch plates filled with ingredients from Nasu. All of the dishes are delicious and are well known for providing a happy lunchtime experience.


2:00pm Okashinoshiro Nasu Heartlandļ¼ˆćŠč“å­ć®åŸŽ é‚£é ˆćƒćƒ¼ćƒˆćƒ©ćƒ³ćƒ‰ļ¼‰


The last stop is to purchase souvenirs at the Okashinoshiro! The name ā€œcastleā€ is just what it sounds like, and there are lots of sweets in the store! It was the perfect spot for sisters with a sweet tooth šŸ˜†. Since we couldnā€™t pick just one, we bought an assortment. It was fun to pack small portions of candy in a pretty box and it was a luxury to be able to eat a variety of sweets! This is the place to end your Nasu trip šŸŽ¶āœØ.

The Okashinoshiro Nasu Heartland is a sweets complex with several facilities located in Nasu-cho, Nasu-gun, Tochigi Prefecture. Visitors of all ages can enjoy eating, drinking, and shopping. Word-of-mouth reviews praise the fact that visitors can take a factory tour and that there is a wide variety of confections to take home as souvenirs.
