1:00 pm Komakata Dozeu Main Store

Went to the Komagata Dozeu main store, which has been in business for over 200 years, to try the Dozeu Nabe (Loach Hot Pot), a dish I had been curious about for a long time. I was intrigued by the taste that has remained unchanged since the Edo period.

Atmospheric interior!

The restaurant has tables, but if you want to enjoy the atmosphere, you should go to the tatami room on the first floor.

Dozeu Nabe (loach hot pot)

Overwhelmed by its appearance, but when you bring it to your mouth… it’s delicious! You can add green onion (free of charge) that go well with it, or shichimi(seven-flavor chili pepper) or karashi(mustard) to your liking.

It seems to be a plate for children, but adults can use it too..!

Interesting!

It’s a stress relief squeeze ball with human face! I can’t stop touching it lol

Unique accessories

Some are made of gum, some are made of string, some are made of paper. There are many things that you cannot find in the other stores!
