AFURI's souvenir ramen series has surpassed 500,000 servings sold in approximately one and a half years since launch, and it's now expanding its lineup with a new flavor: Tori Paitan Ramen. Available first at all AFURI locations in Japan and on the official online store from April 11, 2026, nationwide sales begin on April 15, 2026.
A Bowl Packed with Chicken Umami
The soup features a deeply rich chicken base, with the natural sweetness of aromatic vegetables — ginger, garlic, and onion — carefully drawn out. Dried bonito flakes add another layer of umami depth. Hidden touches of fish sauce and kombu dashi round out the flavor, resulting in a bowl you'll want to drink to the very last drop.
Flavor Variation with the Included Yuzu Raajan
The package includes a special Yuzu Raajan (yuzu chili paste) made from a base of doubanjiang and gochujang. It delivers bold, stimulating heat balanced with solid umami. The powerful notes of ginger and garlic are complemented by the refreshing fragrance of yuzu peel. Adding the Yuzu Raajan partway through the bowl lets you enjoy a distinct change in flavor.
