A global early preview for ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD, a new stylish action RPG from Com2uS Holdings, is now underway. The preview runs until May 27 (Wednesday) at 9:00 AM, targeting players worldwide including those in Japan, North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Participation is available on PC and mobile (Android only).
During the preview period, players can explore major areas such as "Edan Plains," "Luna Mountains," and "Oculus," as well as cooperative multiplayer content and large-scale raids that demand strategic thinking — giving players a broad look at the game's core features.
ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD is based on the action MMORPG ARES: RISE OF GUARDIANS (previously launched in Korea, not yet released in Japan), but has been reimagined as a solo-play-centric action RPG to reflect global players' preference for immersive single-player experiences. The game's near-future setting and story, along with its strategic battle system featuring interchangeable "suits," carry over from the original, while the early game portion places a strong emphasis on solo content to help new players ease in smoothly.
PvP, cooperative PvE, and seasonal endgame content are also included in a well-balanced structure, offering both the satisfaction of character progression and the excitement of combat.
The title is scheduled to launch in the second half of 2026, following final adjustments based on feedback collected during the early preview.
