Arknights: Endfield, GRYPHLINE's 3D real-time strategy RPG, has received a major update today, July 16 (Thursday): the new core version 武陵決戦編「向淵行」 is now live.
The new version adds two new areas and the largest lineup of in-game events yet, alongside the debut of "オクギ," the game's first ★6 Caster operator, who can adapt to a variety of combat styles by shifting stats.
A range of external collaborations and offline events will also be rolled out to celebrate the game's half-anniversary.

The core version "向淵行" adds two new areas, "応龍関" and "武陵北部封鎖区域," bringing the largest main story update in the game's history.
First ★6 Operator Whose Skills Shift With Status Changes
The new ★6 operator "オクギ" has arrived.
Starting today, July 16 (Thursday) at 1:00 PM, the special scout "臨淵望北" is underway, with an increased appearance rate for "オクギ" during the period.
Alongside the special scout, the new ★6 Arts unit "四二式・粛陣" has been added to the 武庫交換所 (Armory Exchange), and weapon requests for "戦列・申請" are now available.

New ★6 Operator "リーノ" Arrives August 9
Starting August 9, the special scout "キラキラ綺羅星," featuring an increased appearance rate for the new ★6 operator "リーノ," is scheduled to begin.
Alongside the special scout "煌めく明星," weapon requests for "明星・申請," which allow players to obtain the ★6 polearm "プリズムナイトデビュー," are also planned to open.
Event Period: August 9, 2026 (Sunday) 1:00 PM – until the next version update maintenance begins
A 7-day stamp rally for each operator and operator trial events will also run alongside each scout. Logging in during the period rewards players with operator-specific special scout tickets and other items.
"Main Quest Early Unlock: 武陵" Event Added
After the update, completing the main quest "修繕の進捗" unlocks the new "Main Quest Early Unlock" feature, which lets players access 武陵 and its related main quests early from the event screen. Using early unlock does not affect progress in the Chapter 1 main quest.
Even when progressing through 武陵 ahead of schedule, related systems and stat balancing adjust automatically to match progress, so exploration, combat, training, and upgrades can all be enjoyed as usual.
Players who haven't yet reached 武陵 in the story can now get an early taste of the new area as well.
New Gas-Based Industrial System Introduced
An entirely new industrial system centered on "ガス" (Gas) has been added, bringing new facilities, production lines, and equipment all at once. The "集成工業システム" (Integrated Industry System) players have built up will evolve further with this update, offering an even more varied production experience.
New Season-Based Permanent Event "戦争残響" Launches
"戦争残響," new advanced-level content, launches alongside the "向淵行" version. Players can challenge multiple stages across three difficulty tiers, and collecting stars earned from clear ratings unlocks season-exclusive titles. New stages are planned for each future season.
New Decorations Added
This update adds new decorations obtainable through タロサイト exchange.
A wide range of distinctive decorations celebrating favorite operators are included, such as オクギ's "子咆獣用タワー," and リーノ's commemorative items including a "リボンボイス" microphone, an "アイドルポーズ" standee, and a "綺羅星" plush toy.
Half-Anniversary "絆の祝典" Campaign Underway
To celebrate the half-anniversary, the "絆の祝典" campaign is underway.
Entering the serial code "EndfieldRenew" in-game rewards players with the photo sticker "作業用ヘルメット" and "折金券."
A 3-day limited stamp rally is also being held as part of the "絆の特典." During the period, players can participate in a scratch card each day from the event screen to win rewards such as "赤晶玉" and training and upgrade materials.
More New Content Rolling Out
The permanent events "映像の記念碑" and "密境の探索者" have been updated.
"映像の記念碑" gains a new high-difficulty series, "山の獣吼." Alongside it, the limited-time advanced event "記憶の痕・獣吼" is also underway, offering various rewards including "赤晶玉."
"密境の探索者" adds a new set of spaces, "六方密境."
In addition, the leisure event "根脈奇景" and the new combat event "燃えよ！アリーナ！," tackled with a team of two, are scheduled to open progressively.
Collaboration and Tie-In Announcements
Arknights: Endfield x GiGO Collaboration Starts July 17
A roughly six-week collaboration event with the crane game brand "GiGO" starts July 17. During the event, players can win newly designed, limited-edition merchandise themed around 10 operators via crane games. Select collaboration stores will also sell specially made taiyaki and distribute limited bonuses.

Half-Anniversary POP-UP Event at Bellesalle Akihabara
To coincide with the new version's launch, a 4-day limited offline pop-up event opens tomorrow, July 17, at Bellesalle Akihabara.
The venue will feature a range of programs themed around Arknights: Endfield, including exhibits, mini-games, and merchandise sales.
