Buttery Honten, a butter-focused patisserie tucked just a 6-minute walk from Nagoya Station, is welcoming summer with a new lineup of fresh sweets. Starting Thursday, July 2, the shop will release a revamped lemon cookie tin alongside limited-quantity peach desserts made with seasonal fruit.
Buttery Cookie (Citron): A Refreshing Lemon Flavor in a New Blue Tin
One of the most popular products in the Buttery Cookie lineup, the Buttery Cookie (Citron), is returning in a renewed form. Thinly baked to a crisp texture, the cookies bring out the full richness of Hokkaido butter. Lemon peel and lemon juice are incorporated into the dough for a bright, refreshing finish that suits the season. The light blue tin holds 60 cookies, making it a popular choice as a summer gift.

Seasonal Peach Desserts at Buttery Honten
Two limited-quantity peach desserts will be sold at Buttery Honten. The Whole Peach Tart lives up to its name — each serving uses an entire peach. Diplomat cream, a blend of fresh cream and custard, is piped into the tart shell, then topped generously with a compoted white peach. The dessert lets the natural softness and juiciness of the fruit take center stage.
Also available is the Peach Mille-Feuille, which layers fresh peach and diplomat cream between sheets of pastry made with French fermented butter, offering a rich and indulgent seasonal treat.
