The "Anime Cardcaptor Sakura TaKaRaBaKo POPUP SHOP" is returning for the first time in about six months, with the Osaka venue opening at Lucua Ile on Friday, July 3, 2026, and the Nagoya venue running at Takashimaya Gate Tower Mall from Wednesday, July 15 through Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
To mark the opening, a range of new products will go on sale, including a gift box-style trinket holder inspired by the "two bears" that Sakura and Syaoran exchanged as gifts, three types of face towels featuring gold and silver embroidery for an elegant touch, and glass cups to brighten everyday dining. New costumes and Kero will also appear at the popular photo spot — the Osaka venue will feature the "Clow Card Arc Black Cat-Style Costume" with its distinctive pink apron from the Clow Card arc, while the Nagoya venue will display the "Sakura Card Arc Final Battle Costume" with its eye-catching star motif on the chest.

About Cardcaptor Sakura
Cardcaptor Sakura was serialized in the monthly shojo manga magazine Nakayoshi from the June 1996 to August 2000 issues. The series was collected into 12 volumes (新書版), and a reorganized edition commemorating Nakayoshi's 60th anniversary was published in 9 volumes (B6 size).
An anime adaptation aired on NHK from 1998 to 2000, with Season 1 and 2 covering the Clow Card arc and Season 3 covering the Sakura Card arc.
In 2016, to mark the 20th anniversary of the manga, a new chapter titled Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card launched after a 16-year hiatus; the Clear Card arc concluded after seven and a half years of serialization with 80 episodes across 16 volumes.
In 2023, the anime celebrated its 25th anniversary, and an announcement was made regarding the production of an anime continuation of the Clear Card arc.
