The pixel art x abyss exploration RPG DOT ABYSS has opened its pre-registration site on April 14, bringing with it a series of campaigns offering in-game items, Abyss Gems, and a chance to win up to 100,000 DMM Points.
What Is DOT ABYSS?
DOT ABYSS is the first title under the "Kumasan Black" label — a sub-label spun off from creative team Kumasan — featuring smooth dot art animations combined with the appeal of beautiful characters in a pixel art abyss exploration RPG.
Story
The Tresuria region — a land long divided among three great powers locked in constant conflict — is suddenly struck by an unexpected end to war.
A massive, unfathomable hole tears open through the ground: the "Great Pit."
From it emerge unknown creatures that devastate humanity. These are called "Calamities."
The three nations, united at the brink of annihilation, construct a final stronghold known as the "Frontline Base" and summon a single man: you, who carries the blood of a legendary hero and is said to possess the greatest mind on the continent.
"Please. Lend us your strength!"
Guided by your adjutant Alicia, you take on the role of commander tasked with uncovering the mystery of the Great Pit.

Pre-Registration Campaigns with Up to 100,000 DMM Points
The pre-registration campaigns offer a total of 7,000 Abyss Gems, lottery tickets for up to 100,000 DMM Points, and various in-game items based on milestone achievements.
During the pre-registration period, a special gacha feature allows players to pull characters and keep up to 3 of them. One favorite character can then be selected to carry into the game at launch for a strong head start.
Maximum Campaign Rewards
- 5,000 Abyss Gems (total) when pre-registrations reach 250,000
- 2,000 Abyss Gems (total) plus in-game items when the pre-registration gacha reaches 300 individual rolls
- 10 DMM Points lottery tickets (total) when 10 SSR characters are obtained via the pre-registration gacha

Earn Exploration Points for Abyss Gems and In-Game Items
During the pre-registration period, characters obtained through the pre-registration gacha can be used to explore the Great Pit. Collecting exploration points earns up to 3,000 Abyss Gems and additional in-game items at game launch.
Maximum Exploration Point Rewards
- 1,000 Abyss Gems (total) plus in-game items when individual exploration points reach 5,000 pt
- 2,000 Abyss Gems (total) plus in-game items when cumulative exploration points reach 100 million pt
