A revival collaboration event featuring manga artist Masatoshi Kawahara's works has kicked off today, July 22, 2026 (Wednesday), in EIKETSU TAISEN: Kogen Soukoku no Hasshou (hereafter, EIKETSU TAISEN), the card-battle action game currently running at amusement facilities from SEGA FAVE Co., Ltd.
EIKETSU TAISEN is a card-battle action game played with physical cards. The game features generals from the Three Kingdoms and Sengoku periods, familiar from the long-running arcade series Sangokushi Taisen and Sengoku Taisen, alongside warriors from the Edo/Bakumatsu, Heian, Spring and Autumn Warring States, and medieval eras.
"Ver. 3.5.0," which launched in May, added the new "Ancient" era, bringing in warriors such as Carthaginian general Hannibal, Macedonian king Alexander the Great, and strategist forefather Taigong Wang, making it an installment that represents the culmination of the Taisen series so far.
In this revival collaboration event, SR Liu Bei — featuring newly drawn artwork made especially for the EIKETSU TAISEN collaboration — joins SR Mutsu Tatsumi from the manga Shura no Toki and SR Zhang Liang from the manga Ryuusui no Tsubasa.
These warriors fight alongside EIKETSU TAISEN's own generals on the same battlefield.

The "Point Shop Event" is a limited-time event.
During the event period, players earn Koko Points each time they convert and print a warrior through exploration. The Koko Points earned can be exchanged at the "Koko Shop" for special warriors and consumable items.
This time, the "Koko Shop" will feature SR Sun Shangxiang, SR Xuanzang, and R Yan Qing on July 22 (Wed); SR Emperor Nero and SR Freydis on July 29 (Wed); and SR Empress Lü and SR Galahad on August 5 (Wed).
