About Gintama: The Movie - Yoshiwara in Flames
Gintama: The Movie - Yoshiwara in Flames is a completely new animated film based on the "Yoshiwara Fire" arc, one of the most acclaimed story arcs in the original manga. The film reimagines the arc alongside new episodes in CinemaScope format—a first for the Gintama anime. Original creator Hideaki Sorachi participated as a "Super Advisor Gorilla," adding characters and episodes not depicted in the original manga. The story centers on bonds forged in the shadows, exploring themes of compassion, friendship, and love.
