Grand Theft Auto Online's "The Kortz Center Heist" Arrives on July 14

Grand Theft Auto Online's next major update, The Kortz Center Heist, launches on July 14. It introduces an entirely new heist mission that sends players after valuable artwork on display at one of Los Santos's leading cultural institutions.

Working with a forger, players can secretly swap out priceless masterpieces from the museum. Whether to sell them off or add them to a personal collection is up to the player.

Players scope out one of Los Santos's premier cultural venues and make off with valuable works of art. The Kortz Center Heist arrives in Grand Theft Auto Online on July 14.

Teaming up with the mysterious Mr. Faber and his chief fixer, Raf De Angelis, players carry out an ambitious new heist plan. After thoroughly casing the museum and working out how to get inside, the crew sets its sights on stealing multiple pieces of art from the Kortz Center.

Keep Up the Ruse Until the Heist Succeeds

Taking on a target as culturally and commercially valuable as the Kortz Center calls for serious preparation. It starts with adding an Art Studio extension to a player's mansion. As with other owned properties, mansion owners can also invite friends over to the Art Studio.

Once the renovation is complete, a skilled forger sets up a workshop inside the studio and produces the fakes needed to swap out the museum's prized targets, effectively becoming the player's personal in-house artist. As preparations progress, the Art Studio accumulates gear and equipment that players and their crew can draw from when building custom loadouts for the finale.

Players can go it alone or team up with up to three other players — the more crew members, the more loot a team may be able to grab and escape with. Raf serves as the point of contact for the heist, supplying reconnaissance and key intel as the crew carries out its carefully laid plan, and the mansion's AI assistant can also lend a hand.

Players buying a mansion for the first time can still take advantage of a special limited-time bonus GTA$ offer. The Prix Luxury Real Estate listing Richman Villa, located in Vinewood Hills, is also just a short drive from the Kortz Center.

The Art of the Heist

Players can visit the Kortz Center in Pacific Bluffs to admire the gallery's latest collection, discreetly photograph paintings on the walls without alerting security, or scope out ways into the pristine cultural institution — there are multiple approaches to choose from.

After casing the exhibits, players plan carefully and prepare for the final approach. As one of Los Santos's most prestigious galleries, the Kortz Center is packed with side targets and other art that can be stolen as extra loot, and it all adds up quickly, making this the most lucrative score yet. Reconnaissance is useful not just for identifying these treasures but also for finding the multiple available escape routes.

Art known to be stolen is harder to resell and fetches a lower price on the secondary market, so covering tracks and staying stealthy is key to maximizing the payout. Making sure there are no witnesses and wiping security camera footage helps avoid suspicion and secure a bigger profit.

Build Your Own Collection

Players can proudly show off their prized loot. The Art Studio doesn't just serve as a base for planning covert operations — it also doubles as a place to display stolen masterpieces inside the mansion, instead of selling them to Mr. Faber's clients.

The first sale each period pays out a higher reward, but players can also choose to keep a stolen primary target painting and display it in the mansion instead. With three new paintings available to steal each period and countless ways to approach each job, The Kortz Center Heist offers a level of replayability the series hasn't seen before.

And There's More...
