Fireworks Show Schedule Finalized: Part One Opens at 5:00 PM with a Special Live Performance from KONO JUNKI (JO1)
The show will now run as a two-part program. To make room for it, Manyo Hanabi's start time has moved up from the originally planned 5:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
In the first part, JO1's KONO JUNKI takes the stage for a special live performance set against the night sky. The second part that follows is the Manyo Hanabi fireworks display itself, produced by Great Sky Art Co., Ltd., which synchronizes music and fireworks down to 1/30th of a second.

KONO JUNKI was selected by viewer vote on the survival audition show "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN" and debuted in 2020 as a member of the global boy group JO1. Every single that the group has released since debuting has topped the major music charts. In 2025, JO1 held a world tour spanning six cities and their first solo concert at Tokyo Dome, and in 2026 the group is set to release "ANIMAL," their U.S. debut, on October 2, followed by a North American tour, expanding their activities both in Japan and overseas. As the group's main vocalist, KONO JUNKI leads JO1 while also actively appearing on TV programs and in dramas, broadening his range of activity alongside his work as an artist.
Special Message from KONO JUNKI to Air in FamilyMart Stores Nationwide
To coincide with the 10:00 AM general ticket sale start on Saturday, September 19, a special in-store message from KONO JUNKI (JO1) will air at roughly 5,000 FamilyMart stores across Japan. The broadcast uses his new song "IGNITE," the opening theme for the TV anime "Tokyo Revengers: 三天戦争編," as BGM, delivering a limited message that can only be heard in-store.
