The idle RPG The King of Fighters AFK has received a new update to mark its 1st anniversary since launch, headlined by the arrival of Iori Yagami in his THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII style, along with a range of new content and events.
New Fighter Iori Yagami (THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII) Joins, Summon Rate Doubled for Anniversary
Iori Yagami, a practitioner of the Yagami-style ancient martial arts, joins the roster in his THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII style. He carries the [Onslaught] synergy, and his summon rate is doubled from the usual rate as part of the 1st anniversary celebration.
New Fighter: Iori Yagami (THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII)
From September 3 to September 16, the "Iori Yagami Debut Event," through which players can obtain Iori Yagami (THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII Style), and the "[Onslaught] Synergy Pickup Summon," which raises the appearance rate of fighters carrying the [Onslaught] synergy, are both underway.
Terry Bogard Gains "Treasured Item" System, Return Summon Underway
The "Treasured Item" growth system has been added to Terry Bogard. To mark this, the "[Come Back!] Terry Bogard Return Event," which allows players to obtain Terry Bogard again, is running from September 3 to September 16.
1st Anniversary Survey Rewards Every Respondent with 1,000,000 Rubies
To mark the 1st anniversary, a "1st Anniversary Survey" is being held in-game from August 27 to September 16. Players who share feedback on the Fighters Festa event and their expectations for the future will receive 1,000,000 Rubies, one of the largest single rewards offered to date.
Numerous In-Game Events and New Minigames
The ongoing "Fighters Festa" event lets players obtain the Legend Pets "Nitro" and "ヒップパカ" through September 16. From September 10 to September 23, a new main event called "Happy Picnic" will introduce new Legend Pets "Sheen" and "ボニット."
In addition, the "Lucky Elphie" event, running from September 7 to September 11, offers a chance to obtain the Legend Supporter "Laurence Blood," and a new minigame called "Wobbly Cake" is also available from September 3 to September 11.
