WEMADE's large-scale MMORPG Legend of YMIR received a new content update on September 8 (Tue), adding "Conqueror Showdown" — a new mode that kicks off once a server battle has been decided. After a server wins its server battle, its clans now fight each other for a crown in a fresh showdown, replacing the previous contribution-based system used to determine the conqueror.

A New Battle Begins After the Server War: "Conqueror Showdown"
"Conqueror Showdown" begins immediately after a server battle's winning server is decided. Once warriors from the losing server are automatically removed, a crown appears at the center of the battlefield, and clans from the winning server clash in a 10-minute battle. Life Mode does not apply during this fight, so fallen warriors respawn instantly and keep fighting.
The clan master of whichever clan's warrior completes the interaction with the crown is appointed as the conqueror.
If no one completes the crown interaction within the time limit, the clan master of the clan with the highest contribution — as before — is selected as the conqueror. During the Conqueror Showdown, actions such as leaving a clan, transferring servers, or renaming a clan are restricted, just as they are during the server battle itself.
New Legendary Armor "Valtram" Added, With Expanded Ways to Obtain It
This update adds five pieces of new legendary armor called "Valtram" — helmet, top, bottoms, gloves, and shoes. They can be crafted using tradeable gWEMIX Fragments or bound Blue Amber, and legendary crafting materials have also been added to rewards from Nightmare Expeditions, raids, and field bosses, adding more depth to gear enhancement.
New Substitute-Item Registration System for Collections
A new system now lets players complete certain collections — ones that were previously hard to finish because of expensive or rare items — using substitute items instead. Slots that accept substitutes are marked with a dedicated icon, and a filter lets players narrow the view to only the collections that currently accept substitute items, making collections more accessible to a wider range of players.
Twitch Drops Event Running Alongside the Update: Watch to Earn Rewards
From September 8 to 29 (UTC+8), a Twitch Drops event runs alongside the update. Simply watching a Drops-enabled stream under the "Legend of YMIR" category on Twitch earns rewards — such as Enhancement Stone Selection Boxes, Valkyrie Cards, and Disir Cards — based on cumulative watch time. Watching streams from SSS-tier streamers in particular yields more rewards than watching general streamers. To take part, players only need to link their Twitch account and set a representative character from their My Page on the official site.

Boot Camp Server Ends, With Catch-Up Buffs for Players Joining the Main Servers
"Boot Camp," the ultra-fast-growth season server that opened on June 30, has ended with this update. Warriors who have not yet transferred servers will be automatically placed on a random server within the same region, letting them continue their adventure on a main server without any extra preparation.
To help ease the sense of a power gap when Boot Camp players join the main servers, a "Skadi's Hunt Support: 14-Day Attendance" event runs across all servers from September 8 to 29. Simply logging in each day grants a 24-hour buff potion that adds +100% monster damage, +100% skill damage, and +200 accuracy, along with +100% monster damage defense, +100% skill damage defense, and +20 MP recovery.
