LINE: GUNDAM WARS, the smartphone game developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment and LINE Yahoo Corporation, has reached its 9.5th anniversary since its launch in July 2016. To celebrate this milestone, the game is hosting various special events and campaigns, along with the implementation of a new game-changing feature called "Joker MS."
Introducing Joker MS: A Game-Changing Feature
As part of the 9.5th anniversary update, LINE: GUNDAM WARS has introduced "Joker MS," a special type of unit that can be added to battle formations in Battle Arena, various Grand Arenas, Friend Battles, and Crown Battles.
Key Features of Joker MS:
- Enters the battle as a replacement when an allied unit is destroyed
- Automatically activates a special JOKER Special Attack upon entering the battle
- Only takes damage from skills or tactical effects that target "self" or "Joker MS"
- Consumes HP as a cost each time a skill is used during battle and retreats when HP reaches 0
- Possesses 3 startup skills and 1 normal skill (different from standard MS units)
- Only skill animations include normal skill, special attack, and Joker special attack (no normal attacks)
- One Joker MS can be assigned per formation
Free Joker MS Gundam for All Players
During the campaign period, players who log in to LINE: GUNDAM WARS will receive blueprints for the Joker MS "Gundam." After receiving the blueprints from the present box and tapping the corresponding icon in the Unit > Mobile Suit menu, players can obtain the Joker MS Gundam.

9.5th Anniversary JOKER Gacha Festival
A special gacha event featuring the Joker MS "GQuuuuuuX (Omega Psycho-mu Activated)" is now available.

- Every 3rd 11-pull can be drawn for 40 diamonds

A new Lethal mobile suit "Gundam (GQuuuuuuX)" makes its debut in this special gacha event.

- 12th 11-pull includes a bonus "Selectable ★5 Fes Ticket - VS&MMS -"
- MMS Fes limited mobile suits and VS Fes limited mobile suits are also available

About LINE: GUNDAM WARS
LINE: GUNDAM WARS is a "New Type ★ Assault Battle SLG" that brings Mobile Suits to life with diverse motion patterns that recreate the atmosphere of the original series in a pop and friendly style. Each Mobile Suit has unique characteristics across six types: Attack, Defense, Support, Disruption, Recovery, and All-purpose. Players can switch between front and rear positions according to battle conditions and activate spectacular special attacks at the right moment.
The game features pilots with different skills that enhance mobile suit performance when deployed in battle. When a deployed mobile suit activates its special attack, famous lines from the series are recreated with voice acting, making it recommended to play with sound on.
Players can collect blueprints to obtain new Mobile Suits and upgrade existing ones. Upgraded mobile suits receive significant stat boosts and become more effective in battle. Blueprints can be obtained from mission clears, gacha, and other sources.
