Nijigen no Mori, the anime theme park on Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, is currently in the middle of its "10th Anniversary Celebration," a year-long program leading up to the park's 10th anniversary. Now it's adding a new seasonal program packed with food, art, and sports: AUTUMN RUSH!!, running from September 18 (Friday) to November 30 (Monday), 2026.
Nijigen no Mori will mark its 10th anniversary in July 2027, and 2026 — the year leading up to that milestone — is themed around "A Place Where Everyone Can Get Absorbed: DISCOVER, DREAM, DIVE IN," with the park building experiences that let visitors immerse themselves even more deeply in the worlds of anime and games. AUTUMN RUSH!! is built around the idea of "Escape the everyday and play through all of autumn's fun," bringing the park's various autumn-only events and content together as a single "autumn park experience."
Alongside the program, a special one-day pass called the AUTUMN RUSH PASS goes on sale for the same period, covering five attractions: the park's four permanent attractions — Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park, NARUTO×BORUTO Shinobi Village, Godzilla Interception Operation, and Dragon Quest Island — plus the nighttime attraction from the TV anime Attack on Titan collaboration, Attack on Titan THE NIGHT WALK -Beyond the Wall-. Visitors can spend a full day moving between the different attractions — getting active, taking photos, and stepping into the worlds of each series — for an autumn only Nijigen no Mori can offer.

Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park

Details: This autumn is the last chance to enjoy the current athletic course and zip line at Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park, and the park is marking the occasion with a special program. Guests can revisit the athletic courses they enjoyed as kids, this time taking them on with friends — moving, running, and laughing their way back to a childlike state of mind. The current athletic course and zip line will only be available through October 12 (Monday, holiday), making this autumn the last chance to take on the challenge with friends. From October 13 (Tuesday) onward, guests can instead enjoy a new coloring experience featuring Shiro and Buriburizaemon at Nombiri no Hara, the hands-on museum "My Crazy! Buriburi House," and Futaba Kindergarten, recreated in vivid detail to feel just like stepping into Shin-chan's world.
Godzilla Interception Operation
Godzilla Interception Operation is an immersive attraction built around a full-scale, 120-meter-long Godzilla that has landed on Awaji Island, letting guests experience its overwhelming scale and power firsthand. Participants join the National Godzilla Awajishima Research Center and take on missions such as a zip line that sends them straight into Godzilla's body and a shooting game to eliminate scattered Godzilla cells.

TV Anime Attack on Titan × Nijigen no Mori Collaboration

Location: 2425-2 Kusumoto, Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture (inside the anime theme park Nijigen no Mori, within Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park)
Details: Walking through a 1.2km night forest, guests can experience the world of the TV anime Attack on Titan, recreated through powerful projection mapping and immersive sound design. Participants become new Survey Corps recruits and join the fight to reclaim freedom from the Titans alongside Eren Yeager and other Survey Corps members, aiming for "beyond the wall." An original card is presented at the goal.

Details: During the event, the slime statue that greets guests in front of the castle as Dragon Quest Island's symbol transforms into a special Halloween look.
