Inside the Godzilla Museum at the popular "Godzilla Interception Operation" attraction at Nijigen no Mori, the anime park on Awaji Island, a Mothra Special Exhibition is underway for a limited time through September 13 (Sunday), 2026 — marking the double anniversary year of the 30th anniversary of the Heisei Mothra series and the 65th anniversary of Mothra's original debut.
As part of the exhibition, an original postcard featuring "King Ghidorah" — the winner of the second popularity vote held through July 12 — will be distributed as the third advance reservation bonus novelty, for a limited time from July 18 (Saturday) to September 13 (Sunday).

This special exhibition lets visitors experience the world of the Heisei Mothra series, one of Toho's most beloved tokusatsu film franchises, showcasing valuable items actually used during filming, including "Mothra Leo" and "Mothra's egg." Don't miss this chance to fully enjoy Mothra's charm — visit "Godzilla Interception Operation" with family and friends.

"Godzilla Interception Operation" Overview (Reference)
"Godzilla Interception Operation" is an entertainment attraction themed around a full-scale, 120-meter Godzilla that has landed on Awaji Island, letting visitors truly experience its overwhelming scale and power. Participants join as members of the National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center and take on missions such as a "zipline" that enters the meticulously detailed interior of Godzilla, and a "shooting game" to eliminate scattered Godzilla cells.
The attraction also features indoor facilities including the "Godzilla Museum" and a kids' area called "Kaijuu no Mori," where young children can freely enjoy approximately 50 types of monster soft vinyl figures. Merchandise from the National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center, along with food themed around the world of "Godzilla Interception Operation," is also available.

"Godzilla Interception Operation" also offers a wide range of Godzilla merchandise, with numerous original items such as hats and figures available for purchase. Wearing a cool hat or a cute headband while experiencing the attraction lets you enjoy the world of Godzilla with even greater immersion.

The Godzilla collaboration room "Kaijuu Land" brings together monsters from throughout the "Godzilla" film series. The room features interiors and tapestries depicting classic Godzilla and popular monsters, along with a partial view of the full-scale Godzilla visible through the window. Special light processing changes how these elements appear, creating a different atmosphere during the day and at night. Guests can also take on a "special mission," searching for all the hidden monsters in the room for a chance to win a luxurious prize — a room designed to be enjoyed both day and night.

Grand Chariot Hokutoshichisei 135° Godzilla Collaboration Room "Showa Toho Kaiju Museum" Overview (Reference)
To commemorate the 5th anniversary of "Godzilla Interception Operation — National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center," a new Godzilla collaboration room, "Showa Toho Kaiju Museum," has opened at Nijigen no Mori's official villa, "GRAND CHARIOT Hokutoshichisei 135°."
The room lets visitors truly experience Godzilla's history, featuring three-dimensional displays of weapons that battled Godzilla in Showa-era Toho tokusatsu films, along with storyboards and sketches. With a "Showa retro" motif, it is furnished with a low table (chabudai), floor cushions, enamel signs bearing monster names, and shoji-style blackout curtains, letting guests enjoy Showa retro nostalgia alongside the monsters.
The room also offers a range of exclusive original novelties and stay benefits. Guests receive admission tickets to "Godzilla Interception Operation," along with a faux-leather coaster engraved with Godzilla from "Godzilla Interception Operation," and — exclusively for overnight guests — an art board featuring the design of "King Ghidorah," Godzilla's greatest nemesis, who first appeared in "Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster."
