NAKED, Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Ryotaro Muramatsu) is producing and directing the illumination "OMOHARA Christmas illumination" currently being held on the rooftop terrace "Omohara no Mori" at Tokyu Plaza Omotesando "Omokado" from December 1, 2025 (Mon) to January 12, 2026 (Mon, Holiday).
A Story-Driven "Forest of Falling Stars" in the Heart of the City
This illumination is a limited-time fantastical light production that unfolds on the lush open terrace "Omohara no Mori," located in the center of the Omotesando and Harajuku area, with the concept of a "forest where stars fall." NAKED has previously created innovative art experiences domestically and internationally, including projection mapping at Tokyo Station. In this project, they utilize that knowledge and technology to create a story-driven "forest of falling stars" in the middle of the city.
Christmas Illumination in Omotesando Where Shooting Stars Rain Down
At the venue, light production is implemented to create a space where it feels as if you can reach the stars, with countless shooting stars raining down. The illumination spreads from the center court to the surrounding street trees, enveloping the entire Omotesando area in gentle light. During the period, animal motifs such as polar bears and reindeer, along with decorations adorned with leaves, are scattered throughout the forest, creating a space that makes visitors feel warmth and tranquility.
Evolving Light Experience Created by Laser Mapping
Furthermore, in 2025, NAKED is introducing laser mapping as a new initiative. The intersection of the soft light of the illumination with laser light creates an unprecedented dynamic light production that combines both stillness and dynamism. Visitors can enjoy a fantastical Christmas experience where nature and art merge while in the heart of the city.
