Our Feel Manga Label Launches Its First Manga Award with Three Celebrated Artists as Judges

The web manga label Our Feel — a sister label of Feel Young — has announced its first-ever manga award, the Our Feel Manga Award. Submissions open on June 4, 2026, and are organized into three separate periods, each overseen by a different judge. The award is open to creators without prior commercial serialization experience, and all genres are welcome.

Details and submission guidelines are available at the official award page: https://ourfeel.jp/article/entry/mangasho_2026

Judges and Comments

Period 1 Judge: Moyoco Anno

Moyoco Anno, known for Kou Happy Mania and Bikacho Shinshi Kaisoroku (both from Shodensha), will serve as the Period 1 judge.

Being a professional manga artist is surprisingly difficult. Sometimes an artist draws something enjoyable but readers don't find it fun, and sometimes readers love a work while the artist is struggling. The best scenario is when you draw something you truly enjoy and many readers get completely absorbed in it. As a fellow creator presenting work on the same stage, I'm sincerely looking forward to discovering new talent.

Period 2 Judge: Yama Wayama

Yama Wayama, who also designed Our Feel's image character and is known for Onna no Sono no Hoshi (Shodensha), will serve as the Period 2 judge.

I'm very much looking forward to reading your wonderful works. I'm waiting for lots of entries!

Period 3 Judge: Tomoko Yamashita

Tomoko Yamashita, known for Ikoku Nikki (Shodensha) and currently serializing Tatsumaki in Our Feel, will serve as the Period 3 judge.

I'm not entirely sure what kind of judging or advice I can offer, but I hope to be of help to the next generation of artists. I'm looking forward to reading your submissions.
