OUTERPLANE, the mobile RPG developed and operated by MAJOR9, has kicked off a major summer update headlined by a new limited-time character, Heatwave Cop Delta. The seasonal variant reimagines fan-favorite character Delta as a free-spirited summer resort police officer, and arrives alongside a new event dungeon, seasonal campaigns, and new summer skins for four other characters.
New Character: Heatwave Cop Delta
Heatwave Cop Delta is a summer-limited version of Delta, one of the game's most popular characters. She is an Earth-attribute Speed-type attacker whose powerful attacks ignore enemy defense, and she debuts with a new summer-themed design and visual effects.
New Event Dungeon: Automaton of the Horizon
OUTERPLANE has also launched a new event dungeon, Automaton of the Horizon. The story follows Delta, who has secretly prepared a man-made beach, as players work through a series of mishaps to create special summer memories.
Clearing the dungeon rewards materials and items for character growth, along with event-exclusive items that can be exchanged for various rewards at the event shop. The first half of the dungeon opens July 14, 2026, the second half opens July 21, 2026, and the event runs through 9:00 AM on August 4, 2026.
Summer Campaigns and Rewards
A variety of other summer-themed events and campaigns are also underway, including a login bonus event, daily missions, and a Lucky Roulette. Players can earn rewards such as gacha tickets and character growth materials.
New Summer Skins for Four Characters
Four popular characters — Monad Iota, Demiurge Luna, Viella, and Caren — have received new summer skins, each bringing fresh looks to the characters. The boss content "Joint Challenge" has also entered a new season, Shichifuja, bringing new battles and challenges for players to take on.
New Opening Tutorial and Steam (PC) Version in the Works
OUTERPLANE is also preparing a new opening tutorial and a Steam (PC) version of the game, both planned for release in the near future, aimed at making the game easier for new players to pick up.
