Secom Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Yasuyuki Yoshida) announced the launch of the third phase of the "Home Protection Project" with ambassador Shohei Ohtani, starting October 28, 2025 (Tuesday). The campaign features a collaboration with renowned manga artists Gosho Aoyama and Takuya Mitsuda, offering participants who complete the "Home Defense Strength Test" original illustrations drawn by both artists.
The project began when Ohtani welcomed new family members, inspiring him to work with Secom to protect the irreplaceable place where he and his family can live with peace of mind — their home. Centered on the theme "precious things," the first phase featured a TV commercial, followed by an SNS campaign in the second phase.
The third phase introduces a web-based test called "Home Defense Strength Test" designed to raise crime prevention awareness. Participants will receive original illustrations created by Gosho Aoyama, the author of the popular mystery manga Detective Conan, and Takuya Mitsuda, the author of the popular baseball manga MAJOR. Both artists have expressed Ohtani's continuous challenges in both pitching and hitting through their distinctive artistic styles in this dream collaboration.
Various content to enhance crime prevention awareness will be released sequentially in the future. Stay tuned.
