Shakugan no Shana: Blaze Edge, a new browser game based on the popular light novel and anime series Shakugan no Shana, has been announced by CTW Inc. Pre-registration is now open ahead of the game's full release.
Celebrating 20 Years of the TV Anime
2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the Shakugan no Shana TV anime, which aired based on the light novel by Yashichiro Takahashi. The story follows ordinary high school student Yuji Sakai, who encounters a flame-haired girl named Shana and gets caught up in battles against supernatural beings known as "Crimson Denizens" that feed on human existence.
Now, the franchise is returning in a new form as a browser RPG titled Shakugan no Shana: Blaze Edge. Official SNS accounts have been launched and pre-registration is underway ahead of the full game launch.

Three-Part Information Campaign Underway

Introducing the Characters
Shana – The Flame-Haired Blazing-Eyed Hunter
Shana is a Flame Haze, a warrior sworn to fight the Crimson Denizens. During battle, her hair and eyes burn a deep crimson. Raised from childhood to fight and little acquainted with everyday life, she slowly begins to understand emotions and ordinary living through her time with Yuji Sakai – and gradually develops feelings for him.
Yuji Sakai – The Outlawed One
Yuji is a boy whose existence was consumed by a Crimson Denizen, leaving him as a "Torch" – a fading remnant of a person. Though he struggles with his fate as one who is already dead, he fights alongside Shana to protect the town. Sharp and perceptive, he continues to grow – though he remains oblivious when it comes to romance.
