A collaboration between the PC browser and smartphone app game Touken Ranbu ONLINE and the long-established incense brand Nippon Kodo returns in the form of an incense-and-plate set. Pre-orders for "Touken Ranbu ONLINE Incense & Incense Plate Set 'Kou no Kata' — Mikazuki Munechika / Kogitsunemaru / Ishikirimaru / Ookurikara / Tsurumaru Kuninaga" (5 types, ¥5,280 each, tax included; shipping and handling charged separately) opened at 12:00 PM on July 9, 2026 (Thursday) on Premium Bandai, the Bandai Namco Group's official online store. The product is distributed by Bandai Co., Ltd. Creer Beaute.
Product Features
This set pairs incense and an incense plate, each inspired by one of five sword warriors (touken danshi) from the PC browser and smartphone app game Touken Ranbu ONLINE: Mikazuki Munechika, Kogitsunemaru, Ishikirimaru, Ookurikara, and Tsurumaru Kuninaga.
The biggest highlight of this new set is the beautiful incense plate, designed around the look of each sword warrior. The plate has been upgraded from the previous incense stand to Seto ware pottery.
The set also carries over the popular design used on the packaging of an earlier incense set, so the pieces can be enjoyed as interior decor even when the incense isn't lit.
The incense itself is a carefully crafted item, produced using the traditional fragrance-blending techniques Nippon Kodo has passed down for more than 450 years since the Tensho era, with a scent selected to match the image of each sword warrior.
The burn time has also been extended to approximately 15 minutes*1, longer than the previous product, allowing for an even more relaxed, indulgent time together with the incense plate.
*1 May vary depending on usage conditions.

About Touken Ranbu ONLINE
Touken Ranbu ONLINE is a PC browser and smartphone app game created through a collaboration between DMM GAMES and Nitro Plus. Players take on the role of a master known as a "Saniwa," gathering "touken danshi" — famous historical swords brought to life as warriors — to form and strengthen a "white blade unit" (hakujintai) and battle enemies. Beyond the popularity of the characters themselves, the game has drawn attention on many fronts, including its story rooted in historical fact and the interest it has sparked in real-life swords. Its popularity surged explosively soon after the service launched in January 2015, prompting fans to visit bookstores for titles about Japanese swords and museums displaying actual blades — a response that reaches well beyond the game itself. In March 2016, a smartphone app version (iOS and Android) with data linkage to the PC browser version was also released, and the franchise has since grown into a media mix spanning musicals, stage plays, orchestra concerts, an anime adaptation, and console games. It marked its 11th anniversary on January 14, 2026.
