The popular PC online MMORPG The Tower of AION is set to receive its latest major update, "Dragon Emperor Tiamat's Advent," on April 22, 2026 (Wednesday) during scheduled maintenance. Pre-registration for the update is now open, running from April 8, 2026 (Wednesday) at 9:00 AM through April 22, 2026 (Wednesday) at 6:59 AM.
Major Update "Dragon Emperor Tiamat's Advent" — Arriving April 22
The new dungeon "Dragon Emperor Tiamat's Sanctuary" is a four-floor dungeon recommended for a party of six, with each floor featuring unique special mechanics that players must navigate to progress.
The dungeon is home to boss characters including the popular NPC "5th Dragon Emperor Tiamat," and defeating them offers the chance to obtain new items introduced in the update, making for a challenging and rewarding experience.
Additionally, the new class name that was solicited through the "Naming Diva" event held in February has been decided: "Void Wing." The Void Wing wields a magic sword and excels in both melee and magical attacks, making it a completely new class unlike any that has appeared before.
Full details on the new items and Void Wing's skills are scheduled to be revealed on April 15.
