Animate Girls Festival - Entertainment Festival for Female Fans

Animate Girls Festival (AGF) is one of Japan's largest comprehensive entertainment events for the otome (female-oriented) audience, held annually since 2010. Every November, it takes place at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, bringing together the latest news and exclusive merchandise from anime, games, 2.5D stage plays, otome games, and other works beloved by female fans.

The main venue spans multiple areas within Sunshine City, where numerous company and title booths are set up. From exclusive merchandise sales to mini-events featuring voice actors, the space is filled with special experiences for fans. Each booth is decorated to recreate the world of its respective work, offering limited-edition goods available only at the event, and also serving as a place for fans to interact with one another.

A highlight of the event is the variety of stage programs held at the Fountain Plaza. Popular voice actors, VTubers, and artists appear on different days to present new works, participate in talk shows, and give live performances. These stage events are also streamed simultaneously via online video services, ensuring that fans who cannot attend in person can still enjoy them.

The venue, Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, is within walking distance of Ikebukuro Station and can be reached via an underground passage, allowing visitors to arrive regardless of the weather. Its convenient location makes it easy for anyone in Tokyo to attend.
