The NARITA Fireworks Festival is an autumn tradition held annually on November 2nd in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture. Initiated in 2006 as an independently organized project, it has since evolved into a spectacular entertainment show beloved by many.
The venue is Narita New Town Sports Ground, where approximately 15,000 fireworks light up the night sky each year. While it's a fireworks festival, it has also won the Good Design Award for its innovative approach. The highlight is undoubtedly the finale fireworks fantasia called "NARITA Golden Legend," where an incredible 1,500 fireworks are launched in just one minute - an emotional and breathtaking program that's absolutely must-see.
Access is 40 minutes on foot from Narita Station, or 10 minutes from the nearest bus stop, Hananowidai. Temporary buses are also scheduled to run from JR Narita Station West Exit. With over 100,000 visitors annually, this popular event represents Chiba Prefecture's premier autumn fireworks festival.
