Jomo Kogen Station（上毛高原駅）
This time, we got off at Jomo Kogen Station, rented a rental car, and got started!

Jomo Kogen Station, located in Minakami machi, Tone gun, Gunma Prefecture, is a station on the Joetsu Shinkansen Line of the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Many people rent cars to enjoy sightseeing and use the station as a base for sightseeing due to its easy access. There are hot springs and leisure facilities in the surrounding area, and visitors can enjoy nature in all four seasons.
10:30am Oigami Onsen One-day trip Yumoto Hanatei（老神温泉 日帰り 湯元華亭）
Drive the car for about 30 minutes.
Here, an open-air bath is located in a Japanese garden created by a gardener in Kyoto.
We can enjoy the scenery in all four seasons✨

In addition to taste picking, there are hands-on events for both adults and children to enjoy, and popular original products made from the delicious fruit are available for purchase at the store.
Seasonal fruit picking is available all year round.

It is made with freshly harvested apples, so it was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and refreshing taste!

After enjoying apple picking, visit the famous roadside station.
Gourmet food, souvenirs, experiences, nature…anything is possible for a whole day of family fun!

The first place we came to was a farmer’s market where we could buy local fruits and vegetables.
There were many fresh vegetables and fruits from Kawaba Village!

Kawabanchi, located in Kawaba-mura, Tone-gun, Gunma Prefecture, is proud of its onigiri made with “snow hotaka,” Koshihikari rice produced in Kawaba-mura. In addition to the eight standard types of onigiri, customers can also enjoy seasonal onigiri. Word of mouth has it that the onigiri are delicious.
4:00pm Roadside Station Nakayama Bonchi（道の駅 中山盆地）
Finally, we came to a roadside station with hot spring facilities along a town called Romantic Road!
Mountain views can be enjoyed during the day and star-filled skies at night.

You can buy fresh agricultural products from Takayama Village and local souvenirs!

Sobainari, a specialty of Takayama Village, is buckwheat noodles in fried bean curd.
I visited there for a visit, but it was not in the store, apparently not on Mondays.
They usually sell out in the evening due to their popularity! We recommend going early.
Takayama Village Branded Rice
Rice called Tsukiakane was also sold.

It is a brightly colored red root vegetable! The vegetable itself is said to be slightly sweet.
It is so rich in nutrients that it is also called “eating blood transfusion”!
Processed beet powder is sold, and it is also good to mix with soup or pasta.
