1955 Tokyo Bay's concept is "OLDIES GOODIES," meaning "the good old days." The hotel is themed around the world of America around 1955, the year the world's first Disneyland opened. This event was planned with the hope that guests could continue enjoying the afterglow of a day at the theme park while also enjoying Halloween. Halloween has its origins in a harvest festival that celebrates the autumn harvest and wards off evil spirits.
