A new Aoyama Flower Market branch is set to open at Oimachi Tracks in Shinagawa, Tokyo, on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The "Aoyama Flower Market Oimachi Tracks" location stands out as the chain's largest houseplant floor area (based on design-stage measurements), with approximately one-quarter of the total floor space dedicated to houseplants.

Park Corporation's space design brand parkERs has sourced plants directly from producers across Japan, focusing on large specimens that cannot be mass-produced, rare varieties, and uniquely shaped plants. These are paired with carefully selected pots and mulching materials to create "one-of-a-kind" pieces.
In 2023, parkERs began selling curated houseplants online only. With this new store, customers can now see and handle the plants in person before purchasing.

Products and Services
Over 70 Varieties Available
By visiting production sites regularly and maintaining close relationships with growers, parkERs is able to stock large specimens, unusual curved trunks, and rare varieties that are not available through mass-production channels. In some cases, plants are brought to the company's own greenhouse and grown further into unique shapes before being offered for sale.
Large Plants and Unique Curved Shapes

Evergreen fresh is a popular houseplant known for its "sleep movement" — it opens its leaves in the morning and closes them at night, mirroring a human daily rhythm. This particular specimen from Okinawa's Gibe-en nursery has a distinctive curved trunk shaped by strong typhoon winds, standing over 1.8 meters in both height and width.
Designer Pot and Plant Combinations

This Schefflera from Izumikawa-en, grown in the sunny hills of Okinawa overlooking the sea by a single dedicated grower, is paired with a pot featuring wave-like curves reminiscent of the coastline. The pot is deliberately low-profile and understated, letting the plant's curved trunk take center stage.
Rare Varieties

Anthurium "Dorayaki" is a rare variety due to its slow growth and the specialized care required to maintain its beautifully balanced foliage. Its velvety leaves catch light along the veins like glitter. The plant is housed in a rounded pot that echoes the round, dorayaki-shaped leaves.
Beginner-Friendly Varieties

For those new to keeping plants, the store carries fast-growing varieties such as Monstera and Pothos, as well as shade-tolerant species like Ficus that are easy to keep indoors.
Plant Consultation and Repotting Services
A parkERs staff member will be on-site at the store once a week (day to be announced — please contact the store for details). Plant care professionals can recommend species suited to a room's ambiance or light conditions, answer questions about plant care, and perform on-the-spot repotting when customers choose a specific pot and plant combination.
Store Design

The interior design reflects the natural surroundings of Oimachi Tracks. Wall shelves and hanging greenery position plants at eye level, creating an immersive green experience throughout the store. Natural materials — including gray-toned reclaimed wood, bark-covered logs, and brick — give the space a warm, organic atmosphere.
