AREUM BAGEL, a bagel specialty shop produced by Bakery Ten, the popular bakery cafe from Seoul, South Korea, is making its first appearance in Oita Prefecture on Friday, July 31. The bagels, which have drawn long lines day after day in the Kanto and Kansai regions, will soon be available to residents of Oita as well.
Bagels Baked Fresh Every Morning
Each day's bagels are baked fresh every morning in just the quantity needed for that day's sales. The dough uses a high hydration ratio, and fermentation and baking times are finely adjusted to produce a soft bite alongside the chewy texture characteristic of a bagel.
