AQUARIUM × ART átoa (Shinko-cho, Chuo-ku, Kobe; Director: Hiromi Nakayama) is teaming up with nearby Kobe Animal Kingdom (Minatojima-Minamimachi, Chuo-ku, Kobe) to release limited-quantity "linked-design" collaboration fish stamps starting Friday, October 2, 2026, condensing the character of each facility into a single design per stamp so that the animals connect across the two.
To mark the collaboration, the two facilities will also link up for a joint Instagram Live series featuring keepers from each location.
Each fish stamp can be enjoyed on its own, but placing the two side by side completes a single dynamic illustration in which the aquatic and land animals appear together.
A discounted touring ticket covering both Kobe Animal Kingdom — which recreates the natural habitats of animals such as shoebills and Pallas's cats — and átoa, a new-style aquarium blending aquariums with art, is also on sale, offering an easy way to enjoy both facilities on the same trip.

AQUARIUM × ART átoa × Kobe Animal Kingdom Fish Stamp Collaboration Instagram Live
To celebrate the fish stamp launch, átoa and Kobe Animal Kingdom will hold a joint Instagram Live series. Across three episodes, keepers from each facility will introduce the animals featured on the fish stamps, sharing insights and lesser-known facts that only keepers would know while connecting the two facilities live. The series is designed to help viewers feel closer to the animals at both facilities through the fish stamps.

What Is a Gyoshuin?
A gyoshuin is an aquarium-style take on the goshuin traditionally collected at shrines and temples. Featuring designs inspired by fish and other aquatic life unique to aquariums, gyoshuin have drawn attention as collectible souvenirs for aquarium enthusiasts. átoa has offered its own gyoshuin since June 2022, with the hope that they encourage visitors to explore different aquariums and discover each one's distinct appeal and creatures.
This linked-design collaboration with another facility is átoa's first attempt of its kind.
Kobe Animal Kingdom
In the indoor area, filled with vividly blooming flowers, visitors can get up close to animals such as shoebills, while the outdoor area offers experiences like camel rides and penguin feeding. The exhibits recreate each animal's natural habitat without fences or cages, letting visitors observe the animals' lively behavior up close.
