Starting April 15, priority applications are open for performing groups (ren) wishing to appear at paid performance venues during the 2026 Awa Odori festival, which is scheduled to take place from August 12 to 15 in Tokushima City.

April 15 (Wednesday) – May 20 (Wednesday)
Target Performance Venues
- Aiba-hama Enbujo
- Minamiuchinomachi Enbujo
- Konya-machi Enbujo (excluding the 2nd session on August 13)
- Ryogoku-honmachi Enbujo
Eligible Groups
- Priority groups – Groups affiliated with the Awa Odori Promotion Association or the Tokushima Prefecture Awa Dance Association
- Groups performing alongside priority groups – At least one-third of the performers must belong to a priority group (groups where only the musical accompaniment of a priority group participates are not eligible)
- Disability organizations and other groups – As recognized by the executive committee chairperson
How to Apply
Complete the designated application form and submit it to the executive committee secretariat by email, fax, mail, or in person. Alternatively, applications can be submitted via the online form on the executive committee website.
The application form can be downloaded from the executive committee website or picked up at the Awa Odori Tourism Promotion Office (3rd floor, Tokushima City Hall).
