Two summer events are coming to Naruto City in Tokushima Prefecture: the Naruto Boat Race Presents 2026 Naruto Summer Festival on August 7, followed by the 2026 Naruto City Awa Odori from August 9 to 11.

Date: August 7 (Friday), 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Venue: Naruto Otsuka Sports Park
Program:
- Stage events: 5:30 PM to 8:20 PM
- Festival stalls and marche: 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM
- Music fireworks with laser light show: 8:40 PM to 9:00 PM
2026 Naruto City Awa Odori
Dates: August 9 (Sunday) to 11 (Tuesday, national holiday), 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM each day
Venue: Special performance stage around JR Naruto Station

Venue: Naruto Park Senjojiki Observatory
Traffic Regulations
During the Naruto City Awa Odori, traffic regulations will be in effect from August 9 (Sunday) to 11 (Tuesday, national holiday), 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Nearby residents and anyone passing through the area are asked for their understanding and cooperation.
